Vocational training sees engineering student employed in Japan

One of our engineering students has recently been employed as a specialist arc welder with a Japanese company in Japan. An opportunity that would have been beyond his wildest dreams when he began his training three years ago.

It’s stories like this that really put a spark in our day; a life changing outcome that also breaks the cycle of poverty that contributes to child trafficking.

We received a very warm welcome from the orphanage management team on our recent visit to Kani. Our investment in the large electrical transformer in 2018 supplies steady, reliable power to the light engineering workshop and computer training workshop.
